Job summary

Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking a Vehicle Photographer to capture and process digital images of vehicles at a designated Cox location.

You will upload images for ECRs, verify quality, follow SOPs, and actively participate in safety programs while supporting the Vehicle Operations team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods; repetitive motion.
• Basic vision abilities: near, far, depth perception.
• Photography experience or education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
• Upload all pictures for ECRs and verify photo quality.
• Maintain knowledge of the DQI website.
• Re-image substandard photos as needed.
• Follow SOPs for Photo Booth operations where available.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and support Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Company Cox Automotive - USA. Job Family: Group Vehicle Operations. Job Profile: Vehicle Photographer. Management Level: Individual Contributor. Flexible Work Option: No remote option; must work at a specified Cox location. Work Shift: Day. Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Responsibilities

• Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
• Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
• Maintain knowledge of Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
• Re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images.
• Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following available standard operating procedures (SOPs) if location is so equipped.
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
• Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma/GED preferred, OR less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, manual dexterity.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in photography; preferred experience in digital and computer processing a plus.
• Basic computer software skills are preferred.
• Certification or education in photography a plus.

Work Environment

Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
