Job summary

Cox Automotive Canada is hiring for a photo/ image capture role in Belcamp, MD. The position focuses on taking high-quality vehicle images, uploading them to ECR, and ensuring accuracy and consistency with the DQI standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, some photography exposure, and the ability to sit or stand for long periods. The role operates Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm and offers an hourly wage with potential additional compensation.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.

• Vision including depth perception required.

Responsibilities

• Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
• Upload pictures for ECR and verify photo quality/accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of the Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
• Re-image or request re-imaging for substandard images.
• Process vehicles through the Photo Booth per SOPs where available.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities

• Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
• Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
• Maintain knowledge of Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
• Re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images.
• Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following available standard operating procedures (SOPs) if location is so equipped.
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Generally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, manual dexterity.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.

Preferred

• 1 year of experience in photography preferred experience in digital and computer processing a plus.
• Basic computer software skills are preferred.
• Certification or education in photography a plus.

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 7:30am - 4:00pm

USD 16.63 - 24.90 per hour

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
