Benner Solutions seeks a Vehicle Operator for Data Collection in the Sunnyvale/SF Bay Area. This long-term contract role supports autonomous vehicle testing and data gathering on predefined routes, with emphasis on safety and accuracy. Onsite work is required at Sunnyvale and/or San Francisco.

You will drive test vehicles, perform basic inspections, document observations, and collaborate with engineers to improve system performance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience.
• No moving violations in the past 12 months; clean driving record.
• Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale and/or San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and address maintenance needs.
• Conduct basic software operations to support data collection.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are partnering with a leading technology company to advance the future of autonomous vehicle development. We are seeking Vehicle Operators - Data Collection to play a critical role in testing, collecting data, and refining cutting-edge driving technology.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract ed with a Staffing Company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours daily on predefined routes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to confirm roadworthiness and address any maintenance needs.
• Conduct basic software operations to support real-time data collection.
• Accurately document observations, issues, and anomalies encountered during test runs.
• Collaborate with engineers, providing valuable feedback to enhance system performance.
• Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance coordination, and storage.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year (ideally 3+) of professional driving experience
• A valid US driving license for the last 3+ years
• No moving violations within the past 12 months, DUIs, or criminal record
• Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale and/or San Francisco

SHIFT HOURS, SCHEDULES, AND STARTING SALARY

The base pay is $28/hr.
