Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a Network Communication (Multiplex) Application Engineer to lead the Program CAN Message List and drive MUX design verification across ECU and vehicle levels. You’ll own launch support for MUX issues and perform thorough triage and root-cause analyses to ensure flawless vehicle launches.

You will develop and maintain the artifact build and release pipeline, leveraging Python scripting to streamline network configurations and accelerate deployment, while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
• 2+ years of professional electrical experience.
• Functional knowledge of automotive electrical systems and architectures.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, and Ethernet in-vehicle networks.
• Experience with Python scripting for automation or tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Program CAN Message List for forward model vehicle programs.
• Drive MUX DV testing at ECU and vehicle levels.
• Provide hands-on launch support for MUX issues during rollouts.
• Perform network-level triage and root cause analysis on communication anomalies.
• Develop and maintain the artifact build and release pipeline for network configurations and software.
