Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Six months related experience or vocational training preferred.
• Promotion eligibility to Mechanic II based on performance and skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Sensitive to confidential information.
• English reading, speaking and writing ability.
• Strong physical and mental health for demanding workload.
• Ability to work under stress at times.
• Climbing stairs and moving materials as needed.
• Willingness to travel frequently if required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs vehicles and equipment with supervision as needed.
• Performs inspections, preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment, and minor component replacement as applicable.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports accurately.
• Performs other related duties as required.
