Job summary

VASCOR Ltd in Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Railcar Inspector to inspect vehicles on rail cars and on the ground. You will identify and classify damages using a handheld scanner and record results.

This weekend schedule (Sat-Sun 7am-3pm) requires basic Windows skills, good communication, and attention to detail. Training will be provided; PTO, 401k match, and insurance benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Prefer High School Diploma or GED.
  • On-the-job training provided.
  • Basic computer skills required (Windows, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle inspections and record results.
  • Daily interaction and communication with customers.
  • Perform ongoing process review and improvements.
  • Identify and report potential day-to-day operational quality issues and potential improvements.

Salary Range: $16.50 - $16.50 Hourly

Job Shift: 1st*This position is a part-time position for weekends only. This will be 1st shift position Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for all accountabilities of inspection of vehicles on rail cars and on the ground in rail facilities. Inspection responsibilities consist of identifying, evaluate, and classify damages to the vehicle and recording results using a handheld scanning device.
