Job summary

Cox Automotive in Fairfield, NJ is seeking an Imaging Technician to capture exterior and interior photos of vehicles using a Samsung S25 Ultra, both before and after detailing. You will drive vehicles through the Fixed Imaging Tunnel and photograph inside the Photo Booth per SOPs.

This outside position involves weather exposure. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate automatic and manual transmissions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Or less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to inspect vehicles from various positions, including underneath and within confined spaces.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, or kneel.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance, color vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Capture and upload quality exterior and interior images of vehicles with Samsung S25 Ultra prior to and after detail cleans vehicles.
• Drive vehicles through our Fixed Imaging Tunnel to capture exterior images.
• Capture images inside the Photo Booth following SOPs.
• Re-imaging of any substandard images.
• Jump-start vehicles with provided equipment.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety procedures and support Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
