Job summary

Hansen America Inc. is seeking a dedicated Lot Attendant / Auto Handler to perform safe vehicle handling and railcar loading/unloading at our automotive shipping facility in the United States.

You will work in a team, managing 20–50 railcars per shift, and adhere to strict safety procedures and procedures for access, fall protection, and vehicle movement. The role requires physical endurance, climbing, lifting, and exposure to outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Clear criminal record required.
• Ability to speak English clearly to communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of vehicle handling and railcar loading/unloading in an automotive shipping facility.
• Ensure safe and efficient movement, inspection, and documentation of vehicles.
• Operate bridge plates and railcar access points with team coordination.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections and report any damage or discrepancies.
• Secure vehicles with wheel chocks and restraints and follow door procedures.
• Shuttle vehicles within the yard and navigate railcars safely.
• Adhere to safety policies, PPE requirements, and environmental conditions.
