Job summary
GLS North America Upfitters specializes in vehicle upfitting and customization for specialty programs nationwide. The Graphic Installer Technician Team Lead will perform high‑quality graphic installations on new vehicles while leading the Graphic Installation team, coordinating workflows, and ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast‑paced automotive environment.
You will train staff, monitor productivity, and uphold safety and installation standards, reporting to leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–4 years in vehicle graphics or related field.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Ability to read and follow installation instructions.
Responsibilities
- Install decals, vinyl graphics, lettering, logos, stripes on vehicles.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces prior to installation.
- Measure and position graphics accurately.
- Use graphic installation tools to apply vinyl materials.
- Train and coach team members on installation techniques.
- Lead daily workflow and ensure timely completion of vehicles.
