Job summary

Network Runners, Inc. supports Moody Air Force Base in Georgia by providing a Vehicle Control Manager to oversee squadron vehicles and equipment, ensuring readiness and accountability. The VCM will coordinate inspections, maintenance, training, and certification to maintain mission readiness.

The role requires several years of vehicle management experience, forklift instruction, and familiarity with military vehicle operations. Standard hours apply with potential mission support as needed.

Qualifications

• Tier 1 SAR Code 8 background check; no Tier 3 Secret clearance.
• Minimum 3 years as Vehicle Control Manager.
• Minimum 2 years as forklift/ATV instructor with certificates.
• Experience with small engines or vehicle maintenance.
• Knowledge of vehicle-management and accountability programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage unit vehicles/equipment including GSA and military trucks, ATVs, trailers, vans, forklifts.
• Diagnose and perform minor engine maintenance and related services.
• Ensure vehicle accountability and AFI 24-302 compliance.
• Maintain a vehicle accountability database for use, condition, status.
• Inspect vehicles daily and coordinate repairs with base transportation.
• Maintain cleanliness, fuel status, and required maintenance docs.
• Operate forklift and train squadron members on forklift/ATV operation.
• Coordinate flight-line certification and maintain 100% fuel-key accountability.
• Prepare fleet status reports and continuity book.
