Job summary

ARA is seeking an Electrical Technician to support assembly, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical and electronic components used in vehicles, sensors, and computing systems. This hands-on role emphasizes cable work, hardware integration, software bring-up, and field testing.

You will collaborate with engineering on integration activities, read wiring diagrams, and travel occasionally for remote vehicle testing and on-site troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent military experience in Electrical Technology.
• Approximately 3 years hands-on electrical assembly or testing experience.
• Proficiency with crimping, soldering, cable assembly and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical hardware including cable fabrication and panel assembly.
• Wire components per schematics and assembly guidelines.
• Perform electrical testing to identify defects and ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support software bring-up and field testing of sensors and electronics.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
