Responsibilities

• Splice wires with knives or cutting pliers, and solder connections to fixtures and equipment.
• Diagnose or repair problems with electronic equipment in motor vehicles.
• Inspect, test, and install electrical or electronic systems to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
• Run new electrical cables.
• Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures and equipment.
• Replace and clean electrical or electronic components.
• Remove seats, carpeting, and interiors of doors.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
• Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring.
• Plan, layout, and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools.
• Other duties as needed to meet Production requirements.
