Job summary

Ohio Cat is seeking a Porter responsible for cleaning and preparing new and used vehicles for display and delivery. You will detail, wash, wax, and repaint trucks as needed, and coordinate with the team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license and possibly CDL A within six months, and 1-3 years of relevant experience. Schedule is 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on maintaining a clean, customer-ready lot.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have a valid driver’s license, and a current CDL Class A or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
One to three years of relevant experience is required.
Must be able to provide a professional and positive atmosphere for customers and ensure positive and effective customer relations.
Must be detail-oriented and possess strong listening skills and the ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

Cleans, details, and vacuums interior of vehicles.
Washes, waxes, and buffs trucks.
Maintains the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
Repaints trucks as needed.
Coordinates work with team members.
Nates any damages or items in need of repair to management.
Maintains cleanliness in the detail bay, and maintains shop cleanliness through disposing of trash, sweeping, etc.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
