Acv-Auctions is seeking an entry-level Detailer to efficiently process vehicles through the Detail Shop, focusing on thorough cleaning, detailing, and sale-ready preparation. You will learn various detailing techniques, participate in vehicle inspections, and contribute to smooth shop operations in a team setting.

This role emphasizes learning, safety, and adapting to peak periods such as promotions. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with English communication skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic ability to read and understand work orders, and communicate effectively in English.
• A strong focus on teamwork and demonstrating a positive service culture.
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions, applying common sense and safety procedures when using shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying levels of physical exertion.
• Must be able to work in a noisy, workshop setting with exposure to the outdoors and various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail vehicles as part of a team to meet sale-ready standards.
• Learn and apply exterior and interior cleaning techniques.
• Evaluate vehicles for decals, stickers, license plates, or writing to remove as needed.
• Maintain high-quality standards for vehicle presentation and shop operations.
• Use tools such as vacuum cleaners, heat guns, and other shop equipment safely.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required safety gear.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace according to company standards.
• Assist with shop production flow during peak times such as sales or promotions.
• Support team collaboration and confidentiality of information.
