Job summary

Pittsburgh Transportation Group in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Vehicle Detailer to keep our fleet clean, sanitized, and ready for daily service. This overnight role emphasizes attention to detail and reliability as you service buses, vans, and other vehicles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail buses, vans, and fleet vehicles to maintain a professional appearance.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Vacuum, wipe down, and disinfect passenger compartments, seating areas, and driver workspaces.
• Apply, remove, and maintain vehicle decals, wraps, and graphics.
• Prepare vehicles for inspections, special events, and daily service operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock cleaning supplies, detailing products, and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including wash bays, parking lots, and service areas.
• Assist maintenance and operations teams with vehicle preparation and fleet support duties.
• Ensure all vehicles meet company cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards before returning to service.
• Support special projects and fleet appearance initiatives as assigned.

Pittsburgh Transportation Group is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Vehicle Detailer to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and readiness of our transportation fleet. This overnight position plays a critical role in ensuring our buses and fleet vehicles are clean, sanitized, professional, and prepared to provide passengers with a safe and comfortable travel experience every day.

What You'll Do as a Vehicle Detailer:

As a Vehicle Detailer, you will:

• Wash, clean, and detail buses, vans, and fleet vehicles to maintain a professional appearance.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize vehicle interiors and exteriors.

• Perform minor cosmetic touch-ups and appearance-related maintenance as needed.
• Apply, remove, and maintain vehicle decals, wraps, and graphics.
• Prepare vehicles for inspections, special events, and daily service operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock cleaning supplies, detailing products, and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including wash bays, parking lots, and service areas.
• Assist maintenance and operations teams with vehicle preparation and fleet support duties.
• Ensure all vehicles meet company cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards before returning to service.

What We're Looking for in a Vehicle Detailer:

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

• Previous experience in vehicle detailing, automotive cleaning, fleet washing, transportation support, janitorial services, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with buses, motor coaches, commercial vehicles, vans, or large fleet vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to quality and detail.

Schedule & Compensation

Shift: Monday-Friday | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Pay: $16.40 per hour
