Job summary

Keith Hawthorne Hyundai in North Carolina seeks a dependable Service & Sales Porter to support both the service and sales teams. This role is hands-on, organized, and focused on delivering an outstanding customer experience while moving vehicles and maintaining an efficient drive.

The position offers a full-time schedule, a five-day work week, and benefits including PTO, 401(k), medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to dealership insurance requirements.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional, courteous, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Ability to safely move and park a variety of vehicles.
• Previous automotive, dealership, porter, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Service Department: Park and move customer vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Assist customers with locating and retrieving their vehicles after service.
• Help ensure vehicles are properly positioned and ready for customer pickup.
• Road-test customer vehicles after repairs, when authorized, to help verify that the reported concern has been corrected.
• Transport customer vehicles and dealership vehicles between locations as needed.
• Provide customer transportation to their destination when needed.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient service drive and parking area.
• Assist service department personnel with daily operational needs.
• Sales Department: Organize and maintain vehicle inventory on the sales lot.
• Move and transport vehicles as needed.
• Help ensure vehicles are parked in the correct locations and are accessible for customers and sales staff.
• Assist with keeping the dealership lot clean, orderly, and professionally presented.
• Support the sales team with daily vehicle movement and lot organization.
• General Responsibilities: Operate customer and dealership vehicles responsibly and safely.
• Treat customers, coworkers, and vehicles with respect.
• Follow dealership safety procedures and instructions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Perform other duties as needed to support dealership operations.
