Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an experienced Vehicle Collision Reconstructionist to investigate, analyze, and reconstruct motor vehicle collisions and prepare defensible expert opinions for litigation.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years of collision reconstruction experience, ACTAR certification, and a FAA Part 107 drone license, with strong writing and communication skills to clearly convey findings to clients and attorneys.

Formación

• ACTAR certification required.
• FAA Part 107 drone license required.
• 5–10+ years experience in vehicle collision reconstruction.
• Experience preparing reports and providing expert testimony.
• Strong written communication and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform detailed reconstruction of single- and multi-vehicle collisions using engineering principles and CAE-based tools.
• Conduct field investigations including collision scene inspections and mapping.
• Inspect and analyze passenger vehicles, commercial motor vehicles, and mechanical systems as needed.
• Download, image, and analyze electronic data from ECMs/EDRs/ACMs.
• Evaluate speeds, friction, time-distance, perception and response times, and vehicle dynamics.
• Prepare demonstrative exhibits and defensible reports.
• Provide deposition and trial testimony as an expert witness.
• Interface with clients, attorneys, and internal teams; manage scopes, budgets, and schedules.
