Job summary

Flexcar is seeking a Vehicle Cleaner to wash exteriors and clean interiors, delivering fast turnaround for each car. You will work on-site at GA locations, handling the full cleaning process and ensuring vehicles are inspection-ready for members.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Weekend shifts and a valid driver's license are expected, with benefits available Day 1.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and dry vehicle exteriors, including wheels, glass, and door jambs
• Clean interiors to the assigned level: vacuum, wipe down surfaces, clean glass and screens, and finish trunks and door pockets
• Work to the standard time for each car and let your lead know when a car needs more than it was graded for
• Check each car as you finish it and fix your own misses before it leaves your hands
• Flag damage, warning lights, low fuel, and anything a member left behind
• Move and park cars safely on the lot
• Keep your bay, tools, and supplies clean and stocked, and tell your lead when something runs low or breaks
• Follow chemical handling and safety rules, and wear the required protective gear

Job Summary

Every car Flexcar hands to a member gets washed outside and cleaned inside first. You do that work. A car comes to you dirty, and a short time later it is ready for someone to drive off the lot in.

The pace is real. Most cars take about 20 to 35 minutes inside, and about 40 minutes of wash time outside. We are not a detail shop, and we are not asking you to spend an hour making one car perfect. We are asking you to turn out car after car at a steady clip, every one of them right.

That second part matters as much as the first. The member opening that door has never seen the car before. Streaks on the glass, crumbs in the seat track, a smudged screen, and they notice. If you are the kind of person who cannot walk away from a job half done, and who can also keep moving, this is your job.

You will be assigned to exterior wash or interior cleaning day to day depending on what the site needs, so you must be able to do both well.

What You’ll Do

• Cars you finish pass inspection for the first time. Rework is rare.
• You hit the standard time consistently, not just on your best days.
• You consistently meet or exceed your efficiency target.
• You are here for your shifts, on time, and your crew can count on you.

What We’re Looking For

• Pride in finishing work. You notice the small stuff and you fix it.
• Speed with consistency. You have worked somewhere that had a clock on it and you were good at it.
• Car wash, detailing, rental or dealership lot, housekeeping, or similar hands-on experience is a plus. If you have not done this before but you work fast and clean, we will train you.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather, on your feet for a full shift, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• At least 18 years old
• Available for weekend shifts
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
