Job summary

LER TechForce is seeking a Vehicle Controls & Brake Controls Engineer in Oakland County. You will develop and optimize control strategies, define system requirements with cross-functional teams, and calibrate algorithms through simulation and real vehicle testing.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in vehicle control systems, proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++, and experience with MiL/HiL testing and automotive tools such as CANape and dSPACE ControlDesk.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in Electrical/Mechanical/Control Systems engineering.
3+ years in vehicle or brake control systems development.
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize vehicle-level and brake control strategies.
Define system requirements with cross-functional teams.
Calibrate control algorithms via simulation and vehicle tests.
Collaborate with software, hardware, and validation groups.
Support validation activities across MiL/HiL and vehicle tests.
