UEC in Oxnard, CA is seeking a student in an agricultural-related program to support Manufacturing Excellence initiatives. You will document processes, assist with plant projects, and help validate data and SAP reports for regional operations.

You will collaborate with onsite teams, Quality and HSE, and cross-functional groups to drive improvements in reliability, quality, and cost while developing leadership and data skills.

• Currently enrolled in a junior college or bachelor’s program in an agricultural-related field.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to the worksite.
• Ability to build relationships and work well in a team-based environment.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Self-motivated with a strong results orientation.

Responsabilidades

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Assist with documentation of operational processes within the Manufacturing Excellence function.
• Work with onsite Manufacturing teams to execute key projects and deliverables in vegetable seed processing.
• Complete data validation and SAP reports supporting global and regional operations, including equipment run time, sustainability data, and plant scheduling.
• Support Quality and HSE functions to drive key programs and targeted metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional regional and global teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Cooperate with Crop Specialists, Field Quality, Production Research, and Seed Technology personnel on projects to improve reliability, quality, and cost.
• Work on business initiatives, standardization, and optimization projects with global and regional teams.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range approximately $22.75 to $47.75 per hour.
• Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions if relevant.
• Benefits may include health care, vision, dental, retirement, paid time off, and sick leave.
