Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud‑Native VectraAI Engineer to design, integrate, and optimize VectraAI Detect and Recall across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You’ll build cloud-native data ingestion pipelines, microservices, and telemetry flows to support secure analytics and monitoring.

Responsibilities include deploying integrations, building dashboards, and implementing IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation. A TS/SCI clearance and strong cloud experience are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience with cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Kubernetes or cloud container platforms.
• Experience building distributed systems, microservices, and API-driven pipelines.
• Experience with VectraAI Detect and Recall or NDR platforms.
• Experience with IaC such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, traffic mirroring, logging, and telemetry flows.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Education: HS diploma or GED + 7+ years IT experience / Associate + 5+ years / Bachelor + 3+ years / Master + 1+ year.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 CSP – Infrastructure Support Certification within 30 days of start date.

The role focuses on cloud‑native microservices, distributed systems, event streaming, infrastructure‑as‑code, and high‑availability security analytics integrations.

What You’ll Work On:

• Architect and deploy VectraAI Detect and Recall integrations within cloud environments using managed services, container orchestration platforms, and serverless compute.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in engineering with cloud architectures, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Kubernetes or cloud container platforms.
• Experience building distributed systems, microservices, and API‑driven pipelines.
• Experience with VectraAI Detect and Recall, or NDR platforms.
• Experience with IaC such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, traffic mirroring, logging, and telemetry flows.

• HS diploma or GED with 7+ years of IT project experience, Associate’s degree with 5+ years, Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years, or Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider – Infrastructure Support Certification within 30 days of start date.

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with cloud identity such as AAD or IAM and Zero Trust security patterns.
• Experience with packet analytics tools such as Zeek, Suricata, or Arkime in cloud traffic pipelines.
• Experience supporting secure cloud adoption within federal or regulated environments.
• Experience in DevSecOps with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of streaming platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
