Vectorworks Drafter/Project Coordinator/Technical Designer

This is a Full Time position in the field of Live Broadcast / Sports / TV News / Technical Operations , located in San Fernando, CA.

The position pays $30.00 — $40.00 per hour.

This isn't a traditional project management position. The role is heavily focused on technical drafting in Vectorworks (roughly 60-70%), with the remaining time spent coordinating projects, working with clients, and collaborating with our fabrication team. We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking a designer’s concept and turning it into clear, buildable fabrication drawings that can move seamlessly into production. Our work includes custom scenic fabrication for broadcast studios, sports and entertainment productions, experiential activations, trade shows, branded environments, corporate events, and commercial installations.

Requirements

• Has strong Vectorworks experience (required)
• Understands scenic fabrication, exhibits, themed entertainment, experiential marketing, trade shows, or live event production
• Can create detailed fabrication drawings and solve technical challenges
• Enjoys working directly with production and shop teams
• Is comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
