Job summary

Cook County Government’s Health and Hospital Systems unit seeks a Manager of Vector Control to lead mosquito and vector control initiatives across suburban Cook County. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required (proof at interview).
• Five years of experience in vector control or related public health program is required.
• One year of supervisory/management experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license to travel throughout suburban Cook County is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CCDPH’s subject matter expert for mosquito and vector control.
• Lead meetings with multiple stakeholders to coordinate vector control activities.
• Develop countywide situational awareness reports and dashboards.
• Prepare reports for CCDPH leadership and external stakeholders.
