Job summary
Austin Commercial in Houston, TX is seeking a VDC Manager II to lead BIM/VDC services across multiple projects. You will develop BEPs, manage model workflows, and train staff on BIM processes to raise regional standards.
The role requires a BS/BA in Engineering/Construction Management/Architecture and 6-8 years of project management experience, with strong communication and leadership skills. This is a full-time, on-site position within our 100% employee-owned company.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
- Minimum 6-8 years of project management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of BIM/VDC processes and project delivery methods.
- Leadership and strong communication/public speaking skills.
- Understanding of construction terminology and scheduling concepts.
Responsibilities
- Increase BIM/VDC service standard training and adoption regionally.
- Manage and implement BIM/VDC services on multiple projects.
- Train project staff on BIM/VDC processes and services.
- Develop BIM Project Execution Plans and BEPs.
- Coordinate BIM/VDC on projects.
