Knutson Construction Services is seeking a VDC Intern in Minneapolis, MN. You will work with our VDC team, receive mentorship, and gain hands‑on experience across our business areas while contributing to real projects.

The internship is paid and offers exposure to company events and community volunteer activities. The role provides a chance to join a dynamic, safety‑driven team, learn BIM-related processes, and build skills that jump‑start a construction career.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related discipline.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist department managers and team members with daily tasks and projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and suggest process improvements.
• Assist VDC Manager and VDC Engineer with documents like BIM Execution Plans, Kick-Off Agendas, and Meeting Minutes.
• Promote Knutson Construction through community involvement and the Knutson Experience initiative.
• Travel to and within project sites as needed.
• Demonstrate commitment to Knutson’s Zero Incident Safety culture.
