Job summary

Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) at the Boise VA Medical Center is seeking part-time Food Service Workers to provide fast-paced, friendly service in our cafes and retail markets. You must be able to read instructions, perform basic math for food prep, and stand/walk for long periods. Lifting up to 40 pounds is required. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required.

Real ID is required to work, and excellent customer service is essential in serving America's Heroes.

Team Members to provide exceptional service in our cafes and retail markets! The Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) located at the Boise, ID, VA Medical Center is seeking part-time Food Service Workers who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to serving America's Heroes.

• A current, valid REAL ID is required to work at Veterans Canteen Service.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math for food preparation.
• Requires constant standing, walking, and frequent bending.
• Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the food service industry is preferred but not necessary.
