Veterans Canteen Service at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center is hiring full-time Food Service Workers to provide exceptional service in our cafes and retail markets.

Ideal candidates will read instructions, perform basic math for food prep, and stand/walk for long periods while lifting up to 40 pounds. Experience in food service is preferred but not required; strong customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math for food preparation.
• Requires constant standing, walking, and frequent bending.
• Must lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the food service industry is preferred but not necessary.
