Job summary

HDR is seeking a skilled professional to operate and support our VCF private cloud platform in Salem, Oregon. This role involves troubleshooting issues, managing lifecycle operations, and optimizing resources for internal customers. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in virtualization and a strong understanding of related tools and platforms.

This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and operates on a standard schedule of 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in virtualization, infrastructure engineering, or private cloud operations.
• Proven hands-on experience administering VCF, SDDC Manager, and vSphere environments.
• Experience executing lifecycle operations in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate and support the VCF private cloud platform.
• Perform and validate lifecycle operations including patching and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot platform issues with limited supervision.

Skills

Hands-on experience administering VCF

Troubleshooting across compute, storage, and networking

API-based automation

Scripting/automation workflows

Working knowledge of vSAN and NSX

Education

Minimum 5 years of experience in virtualization
