1001 VC is a staging ground for cross-border trade. We host high density summits in Miami where the Americas come to do business. We are looking for an Events Lead to be the primary face of our summits and the engine behind our event execution.

The Role

• Primary Stakeholder Contact: You are the lead on customer service. You will own all communications and answer mission-critical questions for our Attendees, Demo Table Founders, and Speakers.
• White-Glove Speaker Management: You will manage the experience for our world-class speakers (Venture Capitalists, Unicorn Founders, and Tech Executives), ensuring they have everything they need for a seamless on-stage performance.
• Demo Table Success: You are the "Air Traffic Controller" for our startup demo tables, ensuring every founder is set up for maximum exposure and ROI.
• Summit Execution: End-to-end ownership of boutique, high-stakes events. You own the venue logistics, the run-of-show, and the on-site experience.
• Partner Lead: Act as the operational touchpoint for institutional partners like J.P. Morgan, Delta Airlines, and Miami Dade College.

Who You Are

• The Go-To Person: You thrive on being the central point of information. You can handle a high volume of inquiries with poise, clarity, and a "Principal" mindset.
• Summit Professional: You’ve managed boutique summits, tech weeks, trade shows or high scale conferences. You understand that in a room of 300-500 elites, detail is everything.
• Venture-Fluent: You understand the startup / venture capital ecosystem and can speak the language of Founders and VCs as a peer.
• Miami Beach (Lincoln Road) Office: You are based In Miami and ready to build our city’s tech infrastructure. This position is 100% on-site.
• 5+ Years of Relevant Experience

Requirements:

The Payoff $80,000 base + performance upside. Direct access to the influential 1001 VC network in the Americas.

Loction:

Our Miami office is located at Industrious Lincoln Road in South Beach, Miami Beach.
