VC Stack is seeking an Analyst to join our team in Cambridge, MA. This position focuses on supporting senior members in scientific due diligence for investments, requiring a PhD in natural sciences or an MD, along with a strong background in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

This position will be located at the Cambridge, MA site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require some travel as defined by the business (domestic and/or international).
This role reports to a Managing Director at the Novartis Venture Fund (NVF) and is a key team member of a leading global corporate life sciences venture fund. Your primary role will be to collaborate with and support senior members of the NVF team. The Analyst will be expected to operate successfully in a start-up environment. The position will frequently interact with our external stakeholders in industry and venture capital, as well as our internal colleague stakeholders in the Novartis Group.
NVF is focused on investing in bio therapeutics. Its primary mandate is to optimize financial returns and has done so historically by focusing on innovative companies seeking to develop products that may be paradigm changing in areas of high-unmet need.
The salary for this position is expected to range between $132,300.00 and $245,700.00 per year.
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
