Job summary

Menzies Aviation LATAM seeks a full-time Ramp Agent to support our International and Domestic Team. The Ramp Agent ensures flights run on time by managing cargo, baggage, and guiding aircraft to gates.

Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED (or ramp experience), pass pre-employment drug testing, and be able to lift 70 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and possess a valid driver’s license with clean record.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have high school diploma or GED or six months ramp agent work experience.
• Must pass pre-employment testing, including a drug test.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs continuously.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no violations over the past 5 years.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Work is done primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals.
• Prior ramp experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lift/move up to 70 lbs of cargo and baggage between aircraft and facilities.
• Operate motorized equipment.
• Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions and routing tags.
• Guide aircraft to and from gates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
