Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a VB.Net Developer to join our on-site team in Mechanicsburg, PA. You’ll design, build, and maintain enterprise applications using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC, while leveraging Oracle PL/SQL and TFS for version control.

Qualifying candidates will have 6+ years of experience, strong debugging and production support skills, and the ability to collaborate across analysts, QA, and development teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of VB.NET/.NET development experience.
• Strong C# and VB.NET skills with ASP.NET MVC.
• Experience with Oracle SQL and data access technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.
• Develop and maintain web apps using AngularJS.
• Develop and optimise Oracle PL/SQL and SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Use ADO.NET for database connectivity and data access.
• Develop business rules using Corticon and provide production support.
• Troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, developers and other teams using TFS for source control.

Job Title: VB.Net Developer

Location: Mechanicsburg, PA

Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2

Salary Range: $80,000$ - 95,000$ per Annum

Experience Required: 6+ years

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.
• Develop and maintain web applications using AngularJS.
• Develop and optimise Oracle PL/SQL and SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Use ADO.NET for database connectivity and data access.
• Develop and maintain business rules using Corticon.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production issues, and performance problems.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement effective bug fixes.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents within required timelines.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Use TFS for source control, work-item tracking, and code management.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, developers, and other technical teams.
