Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a VB.Net Developer to join our on-site team in Mechanicsburg, PA. The role requires 6+ years of experience with VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and AngularJS, along with strong Oracle PL/SQL and ADO.NET skills.

You will design and maintain enterprise applications, work across the full SDLC, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions. This is a full-time, direct position with an onsite work model.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with VB.NET and C#.
• Proficient with ASP.NET, MVC, and AngularJS.
• Solid Oracle PL/SQL and SQL skills.
• Experience with ADO.NET and data access patterns.
• Familiarity with Corticon or business rules engines.
• Experience with TFS for source control and work items.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise VB.NET applications using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.
• Develop and maintain web apps using AngularJS.
• Write and optimize Oracle PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and packages.
• Use ADO.NET for data access and connectivity.
• Implement business rules with Corticon or similar engines.
• Troubleshoot defects, production issues, and performance problems.
• Perform root-cause analysis and deliver fixes promptly.
• Provide production support and incident resolution within SLAs.
• Participate in design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance cycles.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and other teams.

Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2

Salary Range: $80,000$ - 95,000$ per Annum

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.
• Develop and maintain web applications using AngularJS.
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL and SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Use ADO.NET for database connectivity and data access.
• Develop and maintain business rules using Corticon.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production issues, and performance problems.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement effective bug fixes.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents within required timelines.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
