Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Vault Teller to maintain inventory in cash vaults and support Loomis customers. You will verify seals, count and balance items, and communicate with co-workers and customers.

The role involves load/unload of bags and coins, and strict adherence to safety procedures. The position requires substantial physical effort, ability to stand most of the shift, and compliance with handgun license/permit or security requirements as applicable.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry bags/boxes weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to push/pull carts and move cargo weighing up to several hundred pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop and reach for extended periods.
• Must be able to sign and record numbers by hand and read receipts/manifests.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with coworkers and customers.
• State handgun license/permit or security officer commission as required.

Responsibilities

• Verify bag numbers, seals, and manifests against receipts.
• Count, record, and balance items; sign and date records.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with currency and coins.
• Sort cargo by route and communicate with team and customers.
• Maintain inventory and perform reporting as needed.
