Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an Armed Vault Teller for the PM shift (start time 3:00pm, Monday to Friday). The role involves receiving, verifying, sorting, and accounting for vault cargo items, with daily counts, seals verification, and dispatch duties.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading pallets weighing ~50 lbs, sorting by route, and coordinating with staff and customers by phone. A physically active position with standing and walking required throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach.
• Ability to perform repetitious lifting of items weighing an average of 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk continuously between bins, vaults, booths, counters.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, sort, disperse and account for vault cargo items.
• Check identifying numbers or seals on bags against receipts or listings.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts and manifests.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with bags/boxes of coin weighing ~50 lbs per item.
• Load/unload buggies containing currency/checks weighing ~50 lbs per item.
• Sort cargo items by route.
• Communicate with co-workers and customers via telephone.
