Job summary

Terrible's is seeking a Vault Clerk to handle, record, and secure cash and valuables within a vault or secure facility. The role ensures accurate records of transactions and strict adherence to security procedures.

Responsibilities include counting, recording, packaging outgoing orders, and daily balance and reconciliation of vault contents. Candidates should be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Experience in cash handling, banking, or secure operations is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math and computer skills (Excel, inventory systems, etc.).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and record incoming cash, coin, checks, or other valuables.
• Prepare and package outgoing orders for distribution or transfer.
• Maintain detailed records of vault activity including inventory logs and transaction reports.
• Balance vault contents daily and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor security protocols and report suspicious activity immediately.
• Operate cash counting machines and other equipment used in vault operations.
• Assist with audits and inventory counts as needed.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support other team members and departments as directed by the supervisor.
