Job summary

Delaware North at Wheeling Island Casino seeks a Vault Attendant to balance the vault and count moneybags accurately. The role focuses on cash handling, daily balancing, and timely deposits within a regulated gaming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cash handling.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
• Intermediate computer skills including routine data input and record keeping.
• At least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Verify and accept funds from drop and count staff.
• Prepare cashier moneybags for upcoming shifts and balance all proceeds on table at end of shift.
• Deliver cash draws of money to cage supervisors as needed.
• Maintain an accurate cash balance and prepare daily bank deposits.
• Train team members on proper procedures and ensure state, company, and departmental regulations are followed.
