Job summary

Abbott in the United States is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure for the Chicago South/Indiana region. You will lead clinical education, case coverage, and product pull-through to hospital teams, driving adoption of the Vessel Closure portfolio.

You’ll collaborate with physicians and staff, deliver in-service training, support procedures in Cath Lab and OR, and help achieve regional sales goals while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-5+years of related work experience
• Ability to travel 50% within assigned region

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical procedure and product expert in support of case coverage in the hospital setting.
• Focuses on Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists and hospital staff to support the Vessel Closure portfolio.
• Meet with existing and potential customers to identify clinical needs and discuss how Vascular products can help achieve goals.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers.
• Educate customers on product usage through presentations and demonstrations.
