Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology or related field is required.
• Registered Vascular Sonographer (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI) is required.
• Two years of experience as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• Basic Life Support Certification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform vascular ultrasound procedures following policy and radiological standards.
• Verify patient and procedure details before imaging.
• Provide clear and accurate instructions to patients.
• Ensure imaging protocol, steps, and scanner parameters are correct for each patient.
• Maintain patient and staff safety for equipment used.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.
• Perform quality control on equipment as required.
• Communicate with other staff/departments to coordinate care.
• Keep work areas clean and functional according to standards.
• May teach students and support new technologists.
