Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Kentucky is seeking a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform non-invasive vascular studies and report findings to support treatment and diagnosis.

You will operate specialized equipment, ensure quality, maintain records, and participate in training and QA. ARDMS/CCI registry required; IAC-accredited lab standards apply; eligible graduates may have one-year to obtain registry.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound degree program and/or qualifying experience per IAC guidelines.
• Registered in non-invasive imaging with active ARDMS or CCI registry; new grads have 1 year to obtain registry.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular studies per IAC standards; may drive mobile van to client or scheduled sites.
• Evaluate preliminary results and enter data into reports with findings and conclusions.
• Correlate clinical presentation with diagnostic findings; obtain complete history.
• Maintain equipment function, inventory, and records of studies completed.
• Participate in Cardiovascular Trainee education and assist in QA activities.
