OhioHealth is seeking a Vascular Laboratory Technologist to perform non-invasive peripheral vascular studies and provide preliminary interpretations, education, and training. The role includes patient interaction, equipment maintenance, and contributing to quality improvements within the lab.

Responsibilities include performing duplex ultrasound examinations, Ankles/Brachial indices, and venous studies, while training new staff and students and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced

Competenze

• High School or GED (Required) and ARDMS RVT certification with BLS.
• 1-2 years ultrasound training from an accredited program.
• Pass the ARDMS RVT examination; 1-2 years ultrasound experience or clinical training.

Mansioni

• Perform non-invasive peripheral vascular diagnostic examinations as ordered by the physician.
• Evaluate test results and give preliminary ultrasound findings to physicians.
• Train Associate Technologists and vascular technology students in non-invasive procedures.
• Provide outstanding service to external and internal customers and act as an ambassador for the Vascular Lab.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and quality control; document patient care and testing details.
• Assist in training and presenting in-services to staff on non-invasive peripheral vascular procedures.
