The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Medical Instrument Technician (Vascular) for the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center.

The role supports Surgical Service, Vascular Laboratory, performing high-frequency vascular ultrasound examinations and non-invasive testing to diagnose vascular disease. The position requires knowledge of anatomy, ability to follow exam protocols, and capability to travel to satellite facilities as needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations of upper and lower extremities, abdomen, and cerebrovascular vessels.
• Operate high-frequency ultrasound and plethysmography equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Assist physicians with thrombin injections and prepare preliminary reports.
• Maintain sterile field and accurate patient records and reports for examinations.
