Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is seeking a Vascular Technologist to independently operate sonographic equipment for arterial and venous examinations and to communicate diagnostic findings to physicians. Job Description:
As part of the Radiology team, the Vascular Technologist:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Required: Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program that is accredited
Preferred: Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Experience:
Preferred: At least two years of ultrasound with six months in an on-site apprenticeship with a Vascular Laboratory
Other Skills/Knowledge:
Required: For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS:
Required : Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the specialty(ies) as appropriate or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must obtain ARDMS (RVT) registration within 12 months of hire date.
Preferred: RVT
LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Basic Life Support

Pay Range:
$47.00 - $69.84
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
