Beth Israel Lahey Health in Winchester, MA is seeking a Vascular Technologist to independently perform arterial and venous ultrasound studies and to communicate diagnostic results to physicians. This role supports patient safety, quality, and experience within the Radiology team.
You will educate patients, operate ultrasound equipment, rotate through days/evenings/weekends, and pursue ARDMS certification with BLS as required. The position emphasizes accurate exams and collaborative care.

This professional staff technologist position will have an impact on quality, safety and the patient experience.
As part of the Radiology team, the Vascular Technologist:
Required: Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program that is accredited
Preferred: Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Preferred: At least two years of ultrasound with six months in an on-site apprenticeship with a Vascular Laboratory
Required: For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team
Required : Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the specialty(ies) as appropriate or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must obtain ARDMS (RVT) registration within 12 months of hire date.
Preferred: RVT
LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Basic Life Support
POPULATION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: Neonates, Infants, Children, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
On-call: Rotation required
Schedule requirements: Required to regularly rotate through days, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary
$47.00 - $69.84
