Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform noninvasive vascular ultrasound procedures to aid in patient diagnosis. The role requires ARDMS or CCI registration within 2 years, state licensure, and at least 2 years of hands-on experience.

Responsibilities include carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal duplex exams, with emphasis on accurate data documentation, efficient workflow, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Registration required to obtain ARDMS or CCI registry within 2 years of hire.
• State licensure for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is required.
• 2+ years of hands-on vascular testing experience; proficient and independent in all OP exams.

Responsibilities

• Performs Carotid Duplex (CD) exams.
• Performs peripheral arterial duplex exams.
• Performs peripheral venous duplex exams.
• Performs abdominal and other duplex exams.
• Manages time and workload fluctuations; adapts to changing clinical situations.
• Documents and maintains patient and test data; submits charges.
