Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maryland CNA or GNA certification and BLS certification.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficiency with computer systems and accurate blood glucose documentation.
• No prior experience required; prior direct patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including vitals and activities of daily living.
• Perform blood draws and collect specimen samples.
• Monitor patient status and document changes.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Respond to patient alarms and participate in hourly rounding.
• Support wound care and urinary catheter management.
• Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment and fall prevention.
