Qualifications

• Accredited Vascular Technology program required.
• RVT or RVS certification required.
• Proficient in performing vascular sonography and interpreting imaging results.

• Min. 2 years experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Solid understanding of human anatomy and physiology related to vascular conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular imaging studies using sonography to assess vascular conditions and identify abnormalities.
• Verify and confirm patient orders for appropriate tests.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to communicate preliminary findings.
• Prepare detailed preliminary reports for physician interpretation.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to interpret results.
• Request maintenance work orders to ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Input and process data in the electronic reporting system.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve billing, coding, or documentation discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
