Job summary

Riverside Hospital, Inc. seeks a Noninvasive Vascular Technologist to perform ultrasound exams in a hospital setting, delivering quality patient care and assisting in interpretation with preliminary impressions.

You will educate patients about procedures, position patients, and ensure compliance with department policies. Preferred candidates hold an accredited sonography program credential (Graduate/Associate/Bachelor’s) and have imaging experience.

Williamsburg, VirginiaHiring Range$38.60 - $53.08/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.OverviewThe Noninvasive Vascular Technologist performs ultrasound examinations in an hospital setting, demonstrating the skills and knowledge to assess technical data reflective of patient status relative to age and specific needs, and to assist in the interpretation of same, providing preliminary impressions as appropriate. Delivers quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner. Works effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.What you will doPerforms noninvasive vascular ultrasound examinations. Produces quality images following appropriate protocols and procedures. Provides and maintains clinical documentation per scope of practice.Educates patients/families regarding the procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Positions the patient and completes the procedure.Demonstrates commitment to safety and quality and prevents or reduces harms through knowledge and application of departmental policies, procedures, and resource documents.Understands and adheres to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards. Follows RHS policies and procedures.
