Short Description

1. Performs radiographic services following hospital, state, and federal standards, demonstrating full knowledge of radiographic positioning and techniques.
2. Verifies images and documentation in the Picture Achieving Communication System, ensuring accuracy and quality.
3. Performs vascular/interventional procedures under Radiologist supervision, including setup and cleanup of equipment.
4. Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) through documentation, data collection, and customer satisfaction.
5. Provides good patient relations, attending to physical and psychological needs during procedures.
6. Adheres to infection control policies and participates in staff meetings.
7. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Experience Required

1. Full knowledge of radiation protection.
2. Minimum of 3 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
3. Competency in vascular procedures.
4. Solid understanding of vascular anatomy.

Education Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a formal AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.

License/Certification Requirements

1. Eligibility for ARRT certification and/or NJ State Board certification.
2. RVT certification preferred.
3. Current CPR certification preferred.
