Job summary

Vascular Tech is seeking a PRN vascular ultrasound technologist to join the Piedmont Columbus Midtown team in Columbus, GA. The role involves performing inpatient and outpatient vascular ultrasound testing with 2D and Doppler modalities and physiologic assessments, while providing accurate documentation and preliminary findings.

The ideal candidate will hold a CAAHEP-accredited vascular sonography credential or equivalent IAC-approved experience, and must obtain/maintain ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited vascular sonography program.
• In lieu of education, equivalent experience per IAC is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing including 2D/Doppler imaging and physiologic testing.
• Provide documentation and preliminary exam findings for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Overview:

Vascular Tech Reg, PRN, Piedmont Columbus Midtown

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Vascular Sonography program Required or
• In Lieu of education, equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Required

Work Experience

• No experience required
• 2 years related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory vascular sonographer Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support in accordance with the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required and
• Current registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one the following: within 1 Year
• RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist within 1 Year Required or
• RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with RVS certification within 1 Year Required
